The centre court action was dominated in the early stages by the faultless Jasmine Newell and Morgan Evans who made it very difficult for Wilmslow to bring the ball out from the back. Oldham’s dominance was such that head coach Pam Hazelton was able to make changes every quarter.
The game finished with a convincing score line of 86 – 9 to Oldham. Player of the match was a difficult choice as four players could have easily got it. However after some thought the honour went to Morgan Evans.
