The defensive duo of Cusack and Mallinder worked tirelessly from the first whistle to deny space and take the ball from the Deeside attackers. Q1 ended with Fletcher and Tudor scoring with a combined 91% accuracy and the game standing at 29:1 Quarter 2 saw Harrison come on at keeper, Rhodes at wing attack and Perry come on at goal attack with Tudor moving into goal shooter, Perry scored some very big shots with an overall 79% accuracy. The half time whistle saw Oldham with an unassailable lead at 58:4. Oldham started quarter 3 with the same ruthless hunger for goals Fletcher rejoined the game with Tudor taking the bench. Fletcher scored an awesome 25 from 25 with Perry hitting 3 from 4 bring the score to 86:7 Even though the game was effectively over Oldham knew that the magical 100 barrier was within touching distance and in quarter 4 they powered on from where they left off. Tudor was back on court at shooter and the only question that was being asked was which shooter would take that 100th goal. As the score got closer and closer the anticipation in the crowd was growing, with the score at 99:10 the mid-court turned the ball and fed it into the box which was received by Fletcher at the edge of the circle who selflessly fed the ball into Tudor who took the shot to hit that magical century.
