Oldham headed down to Redbridge in Essex hoping to match the success of the senior squad national premier league title and the u16 national champions title. Their campaign started with the first group match against conquerors with a 28-12 win. Followed by
Charnwood sapphires who failed give Oldham any kind of competition. Oldham clocked up a 50-0 win. Next up was grange town where Oldham cruised through with a confident 32-10 win. Day 1 ended with a final win against Windsor royals 20-7.

Day 2 Oldham were regrouped into a knock out competition and first game saw us playing our NW rivals Tameside. Oldham succeeded in their campaign with a 25-16 win. Next phase Oldham faced parkside who were undefeated also. For the first time in the competition Oldham find themselves trailing by 1 goal 5-4 to Parkside by the end of the first quarter. A motivational team talk by head coach pamela Hazelton put the squad back on track with a half time lead of 11-9. The game was closely fought to the end with Oldham coming away with a 21-18 victory. This win ensured that Oldham were in the final.

The atmosphere in the arena was electric waiting in anticipation for the north vs south final match – Oldham v Turnford. Come on Oldham was ringing out in the arena as the girls waited on court for the start of the game. Oldham started with a boom with Bayley Whittaker WD intercepting Turnfords centre pass finished off with a slick shot by Amelia hall GA seeing the first quarter ending 5-3 to Oldham. No changes going into quarter 2. Oldhams Gk six foot Suzie switched on to Turnfords 6ft 2 GA who had been causing most of the problems for Oldham and her tight marking prevented Turnford from capitalising on her height. However a couple of unforced errors by Oldham let Turnford back into the game with half time score of 11-10 to Oldham.
Oldham were off to flier with another two interceptions from Bayley Whittaker and Morgan Evans. Oldham held their nerve bringing the ball down court to shooters Lucy Stevenson and Amelia hall . Jasmine newall fed the ball into them with precision and the slick defence of Suzie Armstrong and Ellie Fitzhugh pressured Turnford into making errors – Oldham went into a 19-14 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Oldham went into the last quarter knowing they had to score from every centre and knowing that they had to work hard for every second of every minute and they would be bringing the trophy home again. The noise in the arena was so loud nobody heard the end of time hooter go off and the umpire had to step on the court to stop the game. Final score 23-21 to Oldham.
GA Amelia hall had 100% shooting accuracy in the final with12/12 goals .
GS Lucy Stevenson on 11/12 and 91%.
