Oldham Win at Pontins

Oldham Netball's younger end of the club went down to Brean Sands this weekend to compete at the annual netball tournament organised by Pontins. 53 girls and over 20 parents made the trip to Somerset for what was the most competitive tournament in the country this year.

The club came back winners of all three age groups U11,12 and 13 with the under 12b also winning the plate competition. A full report will follow.

Nottingham Tournament Announced

We have once again been invited to the Nottingham Annual Tournament.  The date is 6th and 7th September 2008. It will be played at Rushcliffe Leisure Centre, West Bridgeford, Nottinghamshire, NG2 7BY.
The busses are going straight to the playing venue so the players need to travel in their club kit. They will need to take casual wear for Saturday evening.
Requirements: Some spending money for drinks and snacks, packed lunch and wet weather clothing. Swimwear (there is a pool at the hotel)
Cost:  Bed, breakfast and evening meal £70.00 per player and £30.00 per tour mum. We will be staying at the Village Hotel, Brailsford Way, Chilwell, Nottingham, NG9 6DL (same as last year).  To be paid no later than Saturday 27th July.
Please give your confirmation slip and cheque (no cash) made payable to Oldham Netball Club to your team manager as soon as possible. Do not give them to anyone but your team manager,(not even Mike).
