Oldham won 62 v 5
Last weekend saw Oldham Under 14s playing away in their fourth regional match against Didsbury Under 14s winning 62:5 to remain top of the NorthWest Junior Netball League.

The opening quarter saw Alex Martin and Hannah Fletcher (with mid court support from Jess McDermott and Ebonie Richards) perform with perfect shooting scoring 18 goals between them whilst Oldham's defensive unit keeping Didsbury to just one goal - Hannah Cusack at GK and Kasmine Narnor at WD turned the ball several times leaving Oldham in command of the game being 18:1 at the whistle.

Oldham made several changes at the start of quarter two resulting in a new shooting partnership with Berri Neal going into Goal Attack and Alex Martin remaining at Goal Shooter. Ellie Williams came in at WD, with Eve Parker at Goal Keeper and they helped provided great defensive cover whilst Oldham's shooting partnership (with mid court support from Dan Rhodes and Nell McKee)  continued to be sublime scoring a further 14 goals with 100% accuracy leaving the half time at 32:3.
Quarter 3 saw Oldham again make several changes but they continued to ruthless in defence with Hannah Cusack, Kasmine Narnor and Jess McDermott successfully shutting out the Didsbury attacking unit 6 times out of their 7 each of their centre passes with Oldham scoring from each of the turnovers.  This quarter ended 45:4.

Quarter 4 saw Oldham make several more positional changes whilst maintaining their ruthless attacking performance and producing another near perfect defensive display.  With Laura Mallinder, Dan Rhodes and Nell McKee putting up the wall at each Didsbury centre saw Oldham turning over and scoring from 8 of 9 Didsbury centre passes which resulted in a further 17 goals scored by Oldham in this quarter with only one conceded.

The final whistle brought the game to an end at 62:5. Alex Martin scored 37 from 39 (95%), Berri Neal scored 14 from 15 (93%) and Hannah Fletcher was 11 from 13 (85%).
