After suffering a defeat last week Oldham were determined to come out with a win especially after losing to Trafford in the first round of the season.

Trafford were first in the score board however oldham quickly responded with a goal and continued to score, in fact, scored 6 before Trafford scored their next goal. Oldham then scored 11 before Trafford's next game and continued their fantastic start winning the first quarter 22-3
Oldham coach Suzy Ashworth made one change at quarter time with Amy Neild coming on at WA. Oldham did not get complacent with their 19 goal lead and continued to make it difficult for Trafford especially with the number of turnovers Gemma McDermott was making and Chloe Shepherd making those turnovers count by scoring off them. Oldham extended their lead with the half time score 43-12
Third quarter Amelia Hall came back on at C, Joely Ferris at WD, Chloe Shepherd to GA and Lucy Stevenson to GS. Oldham settled well and continued to turn the ball over and get a shooting opportunity. At the end of the third quarter the score was 62-20
Abigail Tyrell went to GD, Amber Hazelton to GK and Ebbie Danson-Chappell to C. Oldham continue to push for as many goals as possible and at the end the game the final score was 85-30
